From spring 2019 we can offer you a safe, secure and pleasant sailing ship for 5 people: Zeeschouw Zeeotter
The Westerdijk Zeeschouw will be completely renovated in the winter of 2018. The sea chimney was built in 1976, it is equipped with a Volvo diesel engine of 25 HP, a handy ship with a large sailing area. Given the size of the ship, she is certainly good to sail on the Frisian canals and lakes. (recommended for people with little flat-bottomed experience), but certainly also seaworthy for the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea, an ideal ship for holiday sailing.
The technology on the sea mantle is adapted to today's requirements. A heater has been built in and the layout has been adjusted for the charter.

heerlijl gevaren met simpel en technisch zeer goed uitgevoerde boot.
met name koelkast en zeer goede accu maakte dat bier en bbq vlees dagen koel bleven.
People hiring yachts will be able to order their shopping here and have this delivered to the harbour (only for yachts in Workum): https://webwinkel.poiesz-supermarkten.nl
Payment is either in advance, alternatively we can pay and then settle with our customers in cash, upon their arrival at the harbour. Shopping will then be delivered to the yacht whilst it is, moored in the harbour, or to the Sail Charter Friesland office.
Anyone chartering a yacht can order bed linen from us; simply use the booking form when booking online, or this can be done via e-mail.
The costs are EUR 20.00 per person, which includes: duvet, sheets, pillow case, etc. Bed linen will be placed on board the yacht, but the beds will not be made up in advance.
Some of our larger Lemsteraken we also offer including Skipper. This offer is meant for guests who have little (or no) experience with flat bottom sailing but still want to enjoy the special atmosphere aboard these classic yachts.
The hired skipper can handle the ship on the engine alone. Sailing this is another story. The guests are expected to cooperate in sailing the ship. Experience is not necessary, but is a bonus.

Sailing courses, maneuvering courses and sailing lessons are part of our rental program. For new charter customers, training is mandatory or proof of experience.
Do you want to sail yourself or sail with a skipper?
We also offer some of our larger Lemsteraken sailing yachts for sailing trips with a Skipper. This offer is intended for guests who have little (or no) experience with flat-bottomed sailing, but still want to enjoy the special atmosphere on board these classic sailing yachts. Rental of a vessel with no experience in flat-bottomed sailing? No problem! Sailing courses, maneuvring courses and sailing tuition are part of our charter programme.
