Lemsteraak Dorothee, one of our smallest Lemsteraak sailing yachts with deckhouse. The vessel was newly built as a manageable family boat, designed by Andre Hoek. It has a comfortable interior, can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, has a kitchen integrated into the saloon, with a 3-burner hob, oven and refrigerator, large chart table and a U-shaped seating area with table.
There are 4 fixed beds , a double bed in the owner’s cabin and two single beds in the forward cabin. With a draught of just 85 cm, the vessel lends itself perfectly to berthing on the mud flat, but is also perfect for the Frisian inland waterways. The vessel is fitted with hydraulic steering system and bow thruster. This vessel can also be sailed without a formal sailing licence, but does require experience.
Nach mehreren Lemsteraaken haben wir diese ein zweites Mal für eine Woche gechartert. Ein tolles Schiff für eine kleine Crew! Problemlos zum Beispiel zu zweit. Sehr gepflegt!

People hiring yachts will be able to order their shopping here and have this delivered to the harbour (only for yachts in Workum): https://webwinkel.poiesz-supermarkten.nl
Payment is either in advance, alternatively we can pay and then settle with our customers in cash, upon their arrival at the harbour. Shopping will then be delivered to the yacht whilst it is, moored in the harbour, or to the Sail Charter Friesland office.
Anyone chartering a yacht can order bed linen from us; simply use the booking form when booking online, or this can be done via e-mail.
The costs are EUR 20.00 per person, which includes: duvet, sheets, pillow case, etc. Bed linen will be placed on board the yacht, but the beds will not be made up in advance.
Some of our larger Lemsteraken we also offer including Skipper. This offer is meant for guests who have little (or no) experience with flat bottom sailing but still want to enjoy the special atmosphere aboard these classic yachts.
The hired skipper can handle the ship on the engine alone. Sailing this is another story. The guests are expected to cooperate in sailing the ship. Experience is not necessary, but is a bonus.

Sailing courses, maneuvering courses and sailing lessons are part of our rental program. For new charter customers, training is mandatory or proof of experience.
Do you want to sail yourself or sail with a skipper?
We also offer some of our larger Lemsteraken sailing yachts for sailing trips with a Skipper. This offer is intended for guests who have little (or no) experience with flat-bottomed sailing, but still want to enjoy the special atmosphere on board these classic sailing yachts. Rental of a vessel with no experience in flat-bottomed sailing? No problem! Sailing courses, maneuvring courses and sailing tuition are part of our charter programme.
